Inyanga is the divine feminine expression of afrocentrism through art and design. 

Inyanga, means three things in the interconnected nguni languages of South Africa. It means ‘moon’ in isi Xhosa, the language of the amaXhosa people, as well as ‘healer’ in isiZulu, the language of amaZulu. It thirdly means ‘month’ in both, which are all interactional as the moon is a measurement of time in the form months in ancient african times. The moon and its cyclical nature is also known for its healing purposes to nature and our existence in many cultures and beliefs within Africa and many around the world.
